Activities:

Vocabulary and Reading:

1) Teachers read two books. One should focus on animals on the "Granja" (farm). The other should focus on the zoo.

2)  Teachers introduce vocabulary through choral repetition.

3) Children listen to the names of the animals and make the noises that each animal makes.

Matching

1) Teachers hand out images of animals that belong either to the Granja (farm) or the Zoo.

2) Children match the pictures to the location that best fits. Teachers may help children when they are stuck by asking paired questions and pointing to the options (¿El gorilla vive el la granja o el zoo?)
